Dear Holmes Families,
Welcome to what promises to be another exciting and impactful year at Holmes Junior High! Whether you’re a returning family or joining us for the first time for the 2025-2026 school year, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our dynamic and caring Hawk community.
This year, we’re rallying around a powerful theme that reflects who we are and what we believe in:
RISE – Reach. Inspire. Soar. Empower.
At Holmes, “Soar High, Hawks” isn’t just a saying — it’s a way of thinking, learning, and growing. The RISE theme invites every student, staff member, and family to recognize the power we each hold to make a difference and to strive for something greater. It reminds us that when we lift one another up, we rise together — and that our potential is truly limitless.
Throughout the year, we will focus on what it means to:
- Reach for new goals, challenges, and opportunities
- Inspire through words, actions, and leadership
- Soar above obstacles with courage and confidence
- Empower others — and ourselves — to grow, lead, and thrive
These ideas will guide our school culture, character education, and academic mindset. We want every student to know they are capable of greatness — and that they don’t have to wait for permission to grow, lead, or create change. At Holmes, we believe every Hawk can rise and soar high beyond expectations.
Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports both academic success and personal development. We know that when students feel seen, heard, and valued, they flourish — and we are here to make sure every student knows just how much potential they carry within them.
