What? 

Parents/guardians will follow their student’s schedule by joining virtual classrooms for each teacher using Zoom.

When?

What do I need to do?

• Your child completed a document with their schedule and the links to their teacher’s Zoom meetings. Use this to join each of your student’s class periods.
• If you do not have a copy of their schedule, sign on to your Skyward family access and click on the schedule tab.  Use the table that we will send out on Wednesday to locate the zoom link for each of your child’s class periods.
• If you need help prior to this event, please contact your child’s Community teacher.

Holmes Text Messaging Opt-in

On Friday, the district shared an opt-in message with all families who have not yet signed up to receive texts from the district. This message will come from the short code: 67587. You can simply reply Y to this message to be enrolled to receive updates from the district and your school. If you have already enrolled to receive text messages, you should not receive this opt in message and will not have to take any action. You can also text Y to 67587 at any time to receive messages from the district after this message is sent on Friday. Please note that any phone you would like to receive messages must be listed as a contact method in Skyward Family Access.

COVID-19 Vaccination @ District 23

We would also like to make you aware of an upcoming COVID-19 vaccination opportunity in our area. Prospect Heights District 23 is currently accepting appointments for first or second doses at a clinic to be held next Wednesday, September 1, at MacArthur Middle School, located at 700 North Schoenbeck Road, Prospect Heights, Ill., 60070. Any interested CCSD59 families can book an appointment here. As we reiterated last week, please keep in mind that vaccinated students do not have to quarantine and potentially miss in-person learning in the event of close contact with a positive COVID-19 case.

COVID-19 Vaccination @ District 59

District 59 will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic and resource fair on Saturday, September 25 at the administration building for students over 12 years old and their families. If interested, fill out this form and we will contact you with more details as we get closer to the event.
