- When will my child’s schedule be available?
- Tuesday, August 11 at 9:00 AM
- What are the hours for my child’s Remote Learning Day?
- 9:00 am – 2:50 pm
- The last hour of each day will be used for independent practice and teacher office hours.
- How do I know when my child’s class meets?
- On Friday’s, teachers will email families a schedule for the upcoming week.

- How often/long will teachers be streaming live with my child?
- Teachers will be live streaming instruction, feedback, and available for office hours at least 2.5 hours per day.
- Teachers will send out a schedule of when they are live streaming and available for office hours each week.
- What online platform will my child use for live streaming?
- Teachers and students will use Zoom or Google Meets for instruction, student-student collaboration, feedback, and office hours.
- What does an online lesson look like for my child?
- A goal to achieve by the end of the class period
- Live online lesson with teacher
- Students practicing what they learned
- Small group meetings with a teacher
- Teacher-student feedback/discussions
- Students working together online
- When will my child receive social emotional lessons (Community)?
- Community (Social Emotional Learning) is built into periods 1 and 5.
- How will my student be graded? How will I know how my child is doing in class?
- This year we will return to regular grading and attendance practices.
- Teachers will be sharing regular feedback, scores, grades, etc. on student work with students and parents using Skyward and Google Classroom.
- Please make sure to update your contact information/email in Skyward to have the most accurate information.
- Will attendance be taken?
- Teachers will be taking attendance each period of the day.
- How do I let the school know if my child won’t be able to attend a class period or day?
- Please call our attendance line at 847-472-3890 to report if your child is absent.
