Online Registration for Returning StudentsParents of students returning to District 59 schools for the 2013/14 school year should register their children online beginning April 1st and continuing through May 24th. Parents can access online registration from the District’s website under Skyward Family Access. Parents must know their Skyward login ID and Password to register. (Check with your child’s school if you have forgotten your ID or Password.) Families with more than one student attending District 59 schools must register each child separately. CELL PHONE USAGE Important Lunch Account Deposit DeadlinePlease note that money posted to your child’s lunch account via Mealtime Online has a deadline in order for that deposit to be available for your child’s lunch period. Please also note that if your child brings his/her lunch deposit to school in an envelope, it must be submitted to the school office BEFORE 9:00 A.M. – preferably upon entry to school before the start of the first period class. The Ceres lunch personnel need sufficient time to post money to individual accounts, therefore, please understand that lunch money brought to the school office after the lunch personnel pick up the day’s deposits money submitted after 9:00 AM cannot be posted in time for that day’s lunch period. |

Printer Cartride/Cell Phone DonationsPlease donate your used printer cartridges and cell phones! We earn points for each item we collect and points can be redeemed for technology equipment. Is Your Information Correct?For the safety of your child it is important that the school have current home, work and/or cell phone numbers for parents/guardians as well as for any adults allowed by the parent to pick their child up from school. If you haven’t already done so, please make sure the school office has current information and please try to remember to keep the office informed if or when phone numbers or other contacts change. Additionally, for the safety of your child, please make sure he/she memorizes his/her home phone number and address, as well as work and cell phone numbers where parents can be reached. Money ReminderParents with access to computers are encouraged to utilize both the PaySchools and Mealtime Online payment format. However, if you choose to submit payments or make lunch account deposits via your child please remember that all money submitted to school for your child’s lunch account or any other event or activity must be in an envelope clearly marked with the student’s first and last name and the purpose for the money (i.e. lunch money, school fees, etc.). If paying by check, please print your child’s first and last name in the memo portion of the check. Again, any cash submitted to school for any purpose must be in the EXACT AMOUNT – the school office cannot make change. |
Parents are advised to remind their student that some clothing is not appropriate school attire. All students are expected to observe the basic standards of cleanliness, good grooming, and modesty. These standards include, but are not limited to, items such as pajama bottoms/lounge-type wear, as well as, clothing that is “see-through”, cut low, or exposes one’s midriff. Students may not wear hats, hoods, visors, bandanas, or slippers in school. Additionally, if a shirt with spaghetti straps is worn, then a T-shirt or blouse must be worn under or over that shirt.
